| Someone spent a long time (like years)desiging, testing and tweaking the pauter rods. They say they can handle X horsepower because they have actualy done it. The high price is paying for the R&D hours as well, not just material and mold overhead. So those E-bay ones look like Carillo h-beam rods. Those run about $1300. a set. Have fun rebuilding your engine when those rods don't even hold stock power. You asked why, you were told why several times and then you laughed at us. FOAD
